About
This specialized facility marks the first phase of a multi-phase project aimed at addressing the effects of multi-generational trauma through holistic family healing. The facility consists of four 1,860-square-foot dwelling units, handcrafted from locally sourced white spruce logs, with eastern-facing roof peaks designed to capture morning sunlight and custom cultural floor designs that honor community traditions.
The project provided valuable training and employment opportunities for community members, ensuring that skills and knowledge were shared throughout the build. Thoughtfully designed and carefully crafted, this centre supports both wellness and cultural connection for generations to come.
“We’re honoured to have crafted this facility, a space designed to support healing and address the effects of intergenerational trauma, providing a beacon of hope for those in need.”
